The Massive synth is a powerhouse, so spend a couple of hours learning about it with these expert video tutorials from massivesynth.com

Massive is pretty much one of the main go-to synths for me when I’m working on a track. I love the versatility, the way of working, and I’m used to working with it now, so it feels familiar.

I’d recommend everyone get to grips with it, since it’s a powerful piece of software. Yes – it has some presets which are often over-used, but considering the ability to put together your own sounds so quickly, it’s easy to forget that the “brutal electro” setting even exists.

So with that in mind, I’d like to present “NI Massive Complete” – a comprehensive two and a half hour video tutorial (split in to sections, don’t worry) that covers everything you could possibly want to know about massive, from the basics, through routing, sound shaping, sequencing, effects to bringin it all together.

It’s not something that I’ve seen in this format before, and it’s certainly got the potential to give you a good solid grounding in the synth, as well as give you a great basis to use other synths from too.

The videos are in HD, and are also mobile friendly if you’re on the move and the whole thing is a very affordable $37 – considerably less than you’d pay for two hours of an expert’s time to take you through the synth.

Do you like the nonsensical incessant bass-warblings of Datsik or Skrillex? Are you constantly wowed by over-hyped wobbly mid-range tear-out kick-you-in-your-stupid-face basslines? Do you want to wholeheartedly jump on the dubstep bandwagon? (after all, this is what dubstep is all about, right?)

Destroy all your 14 year old friends’ eardrums (and will to live) with these brand new patches for Massive. (because “brutal electro” is so fucking amateur these days, I mean c’mon!)

So what are you waiting for, champ? The screaming, dosile, drugged-up crowds of yelling idiots (barely aware they’re alive) await your tunes BRO!

Seriously though – you might want to check them out anyway, you might learn something. Massivesynth.com is actually a particularly useful blog for learning about the VST synth. I would much sooner push the dub-techno patches though.
