A brand new compilation has surfaced from the folks at Subdepth, and I’ll be honest – I love it. It encompasses a huge amount that I love about dubstep at the moment. The intricate, melodic and floaty-light melodies, as well as the basslines that sit so nicely beneath. It’s not horrendous wobble, and it’s not some genre-pushing new fucking breaking-boundaries shit. It’s just plain old good dubstep – and you know what? That works for me.

There’s some names on the tracklist from producers I’ve been really enjoying recently. Notably Dom Hz, Vandera and the ever-incredible Indigo.
