Steve has done us all a favour again, and provided us with a set of those beautiful deep, dubby chords. Take your production deeper by 1000 leagues and grab them for yourself.

I’m all up for free music, and so as soon as I was told about Bojcot Selectah’s U Know EP, I made a point of grabbing it right away.
I’d suggest you do the same. Immediately!
The very talented Egoless has decided to give away all (bar one) of his previous tracks, in light of the fact that he’s now working on full-length projects.
So without further messing around, I’d like to direct you towards his post on DSF about it, or see the links below…

EGOLESS – No Ego, No Problems! EP
http://egoless.bandcamp.com/album/egole … ms-ep-free
It all started with “Ja” after hearing it on Myrkur’s Radikal Radio on Sub FM. I was hooked by the depth, and sheer production value in a track which took dubstep, and mixed with a real middle-eastern vibe. Not in the blatant, dancefloor-filling sens of Chase and Status, but in a way that was far more profound, and encompassing.
And so, I’m delighted to be able to promote the No Ego, No Problems EP – where you can get this and 5 other sublime tracks for free. Yep… sheer quality, for nothing.
Croatia’s Egoless has me hooked. A producer who has taken real time and precision to perfect an EP of tracks which take influence from a variety of places, styles and dare I say it feelings.
In his own words “I have some special feelings about the songs in this release, I don’t want to sell this, and make it a “product”. That’s the reason i refused some of the labels that wanted to release this and decided to put this for free. You may disrespect and ignore it automatically because it’s free, but the positive feelings that aroused my soul while making these tunes will never fade away…”
I shouldn’t need to say anything else.
So after Rhythmicon’s excellent “Solstice Dub” last week, I’d like to bring you a dub-techno download you’ll not find anywhere else!

I don’t want to give too much away, but Leo’s “Magma 09″ is a beautiful progressive masterpiece which builds, swells and shimmers from nothing in to something brilliantly driving where subtle melodies slide in and out of the track and the whole track really takes you on a journey.
You can find out more about Leo from a previous post where I highlighted his work, and you can also get yourself some of his kickdrums for free here.
Stream “All I Do” it from Absense’s MySpace or download it from here.
22 year old Liverpudlian “Absense” has just caught my attention in a big way. His track “All I Do” is the reason why.
It’s a simple vocal, shrouded somewhere in the midst of some smooth organ pads, and a gorgeous drum pattern. The track has the warmth of Summer, with the echoing simplistic sparseness of Winter, and instead of opting for any crazy basslines, or stop-start stutter rhythms to jarr the potential punters in to dancing, this very much invites people to just chill.
And chill, I will.
I suggest you check this out immediately. I’ve had it on repeat for half an hour now at least.
As well as the links above, Absense has also got himself a fab little dot com too.
