Amazing prose. Deep routed in philosophy and science. I am lucky enough to know a sound engineer, who always made time to mention, “We are all holographic life forms, resonating at multitude of frequencies and those frequencies are interchangable and interconnectable through music and emotion”. When said engineer is driving some of the most forward thinking, bass driven emotive music I have ever heard, and I am experiencing his 100k Function 1 system with a leaning towards infrabass and precision dynamics, whilst completely sober and free from any illicit substance, the emotion and focus I achieve through his exhibition of sound is so intense and encompassing, it only serves to re-inforce his theory. At these events, I don’t see cocaine, I don’t see ketamine, I don’t see m-cat, I don’t see MDMA or apparent users, I don’t see LSD or those ungulfed in its experience, I don’t even see cannabis all that much, but what I do see and feel, is a room full of people all wanting a unifying experience. The night is called Trigger, their attempts to cultivate an audience of “dubsteppers” hasn’t always gone to plan, but having said that, the 300 or so fans of the brand, music and experience, would say they listen to electronic music…..from Reso to the Lawgiverz and a plethora of other magnificent and detailed producers, the crowd has been exposed and indulged in some of the finest electronic music the world has to offer……I only hope, that after the success of this event, we get to see Synkro and Indigo in Birmingham some time soon. Because after reading this article, I know there is a home in the Midlands for you to play, and an audience that will hold true to everyones belief. Good luck with this event, all things being well, I hope to see you there myself.
