So I’ve been working with a number of people on this over the last year or so, and we’ve finally got the first issue of Modus up and running!
Modus is a magazine aimed at the deeper end of dubstep and techno – with an emphasis on editorial and content that provokes discussion, as opposed to just reviews.
The first issue contains: A brief new-talent showcase, an article on the possible future of MySpace for artists, an exclusive interview with dub-techno don Quantec, an exclusive interview with Egoless, a huge guide for sending dubs and tracks to people, a revealing interview with Bob Macc on mastering, an interview with new talent Jack Dixon and a piece on the biggest photographer and design team in dubstep, Stuart Hammersley of Give Up Art and photographer Shaun Bloodworth.
It’s available as a printed magazine for $12 (currently $9.15 till Christmas) or as a PDF download for just $2.
